Our history

JKUSDA Associates was formed on a JKUSDA Associate Sabbath in 2018 during which a meeting was convened and the members then saw the need to have an organisation that would bring associates together to address their issues and support JKUSDA church. Prior to that point, it was an ad-hoc group that only came together during Associates Sabbath. The first chairperson was Edwin Ong'ayo and the treasurer was Nelly Manyala.

The group has since grown and currently has a membership of about 1000 with an operative welfare program that has benefited 20+ families. Social Sundays, nature sabbaths and networking dinner events have made entry into the list of activities that strengthen the bonds that ties members together. We are currently pursuing the formation of a Sacco to serve the financial needs of members.
