The JKUSDA Associates Group was formed out of a need to have an organisation that would bring associates together to address their issues and support JKUSDA church. The group has since grown to a membership of about 1000 with an operative welfare program that has benefited 20+ families. Social Sundays, nature sabbaths and networking dinner events have made entry into the list of activities that strengthen the bonds that tie members together.  Know more »

To build a network of globally connected JKUSDA Associate professionals, entrepreneurs, and servicemen/women committed to service, spiritual growth, and community impact, while guiding and nurturing future generations of JKUSDA Associates.

Events & media

The JKUSDA Associates Group organizes a series of events throughout the year for its members and friends, including — but not limited to — the following:

  • Nature Sabbaths, a time for JKUSDA associates to worship God, connect with nature through singing and tranquility, share a potluck lunch, and enjoy an evening nature walk, all in celebration of the Creator's beauty.
  • Homecoming Sabbaths where we all go back to JKUSDA to say hello to the younger brothers and sisters and reignite the beautiful sabbaths we had during our stay in JKUSDA.
  • Social Sundays, rejuvenating events for associates to disconnect from busy schedules, connect with nature, engage in physical activity, and share meaningful moments with each other.
  • Dinners which are themed events that bring associates together for networking, inspiring talks on well-being, and a delicious buffet, offering both professional and social engagement to end the evening on a satisfying note.
  • Mentorship programs in which JKUSDA associates give back to JKUSDA and JKUAT by extension by offering guidance and support to students, inviting professionals, organizations, and companies to help navigate academic and career paths, and also welcoming JKUAT Non-Adventist students to participate.

Constitution

The Constitution guides the association, spelling out the aims of the association, membership and organization, and the objectives towards which the association is geared.

Welfare Policy

The Welfare Policy was formulated to ensure uniformity, equity and sustainability in treating all members across all the generations of JKUSDA Associates when welfare needs arise.
